The Bible Reading (usually in Great Marquee)

The Bible Reading will be shown on Chalet TV at 10am to 11am. It will also be available to view in the restaurant and on the 2^nd floor of Pontins main building.

It will be show again at 11.45am in the same venues.

We mentioned last week that additional accommodation on-site had become available and was being offered to those on the waiting list. That has now happened and there are still some units available.

The units available are Club grade, 1xbedroom apartments, sleeping 4, which cost £760. You can also add half board meals for £40/person.

Since we launched the Forums in 2010 they have proved very useful to guests in the run up to each year's event for contacting others and making accommodation and travel arrangements. We apologise that Pontins' confirmation letter gave the wrong date of 4th February as the final payment date. The correct date as stated in our brochure is 11th January.

As we said in our last update we were amazed by how quickly the onsite accommodation booked up. The good news is that some additional accommodation units are being made available for our guests. I was at the park yesterday and heard a progress report on 84 units being converted for guests. On Monday 4th July we were staggered to hear from Pontins that all our on-site accommodation had been booked after only four days! While our new site is slightly smaller that was hugely positive and encouraging. However, we are well aware that there are many who haven't booked a place who would like to come to NWA 2012. Event pass prices were not included in the brochure, but have now been confirmed for next year.

Good News! The event pass prices for New Word Alive 2012 are being kept exactly the same as at New Word Alive 2011.

An adult event pass will again be £110 and a child's (3-16 years old) event pass will be £50. Children under 2 yrs old are free. Children's ages are as at the start of the event next year (31st March 2012).

Since opening at the end of June bookings have gone very well and many of you have reserved your accommodation on site. Touring pitches allow you to stay on-site in a touring caravan or camp in a tent. You will also need to purchase an event pass for each person to enable you to have full access to the New Word Alive programme. As in 2010 both the pitches and the event passes can be bought at the same time through the booking line. We are also pleased to announce the prices for the pitches are still very reasonable in 2011.

We have just launched the on-line Forums on the New Word Alive website, which allow you to contact other guests who are coming to the event. We have had an equivalent of forums on Facebook, but not everyone is a Facebook fan. The new Forums allow anyone to access and post messages and all from within our own website.

What can I use them for?

One way the Forums can be used is to advertise or ask for spare accommodation. That way the empty room in your chalet can be filled and others are able to attend the event and you share the cost. Or you can request or offer help with… Read on

Event Passes can be bought by cheque with a booking form or by card through our secure online shop and you can choose where you want to stay locally.
